Hall and Hall Auctions announced the results of several recent land auctions in Kansas, Oklahoma and Montana. Four auctions in Kansas and Oklahoma held on October 21-22 resulted in 8,702 acres selling to four different buyers for $6,258,876. A Glasgow, Mont., auction on Nov. 20 resulted in 12,229 acres (20,678 with lease acres) selling to four different buyers for $5,236,400. This is a total of 20,931 acres in three states totaling $11,495,276 selling at auction over the past month.
“We are extremely proud of these auctions,” said Scott Shuman of Hall and Hall Auctions. “We had bidders from a number of different states, the auctions were very well attended, and the sellers and buyers were quite pleased.”
The Kansas and Oklahoma auctions offered ranchland and grassland along the Southern Border of Kansas and Northern Border of Oklahoma in four auctions. The properties were very diverse ranging from outstanding grazing land in Meade and Clark counties Kansas, to well-managed recreational land and Oklahoma farmland.
“The Kansas and Oklahoma auctions in October were the perfect combination of grazing land and hunting land,” said John Wildin the Kansas/Oklahoma broker for Hall and Hall.
The Prairie Creek Ranch was a cattle ranch in northeastern Montana comprised of 12,229± deeded acres with 8,449± acres of leased land. Improvements included a home, shop, sheds, corrals, grain bins and gravel deposits.
