GVM, a manufacturer of agricultural application equipment, has added Fertilizer Dealer Supply (FDS) to its growing network of Mako dealers. The GVM Mako is a small, compact self-propelled sprayer

The partnership came about from a conversation Brian Parman, Boonville, Mo., manager, Fertilizer Dealer Supply, had with GVM CEO Mark Anderson.

“I met Mark Anderson some 20 years ago while attending different vendor meetings. I was always impressed with his product knowledge, which is often [times] rare for the CEO of a company. After FDS lost our small sprayer line, I visited with Mark at a trade show and we discussed different possibilities and options to replace that line.”

“When Mark came up with a plan to build the Mako; FDS was ready to partner up and sell the machine in the state of Missouri,” Parman added. About the partnership, Mark Anderson, GVM President and Owner, stated, “When we select dealers, we look for a common philosophy in doing business. FDS shares our commitment and dedication to meeting the needs of the customers. We are proud to align ourselves with FDS to extend our reach in the Midwest. With their nearly 50 years of experience I am confident, together, we will.”

Fertilizer Dealer Supply (FDS) has its headquartered in Philo, Ill., and has seven locations throughout the Midwest including: Philo, Ill.; Anna Ohio; Jesup, Iowa; Milton, Wis.; Morrice, Mich.; Boonville, Mo.; and Brookston, Ind., offering an extensive inventory of fertilizer and chemical application parts in addition to a broad line of equipment.
