Engage Agro USA, LLC, announced that it has been appointed the marketing and sales partner by Cultiva, LLC, for Parka+, a unique cuticle supplement for cherries in the United States – excluding the PNW. Idaho, Oregon and Washington states should contact Cultiva directly.
Parka+ is powered by Sure Seal BioFilm Technology and is a patented, food grade, hydrophobic, elastic biofilm that supplements the natural cuticle of cherries and reduces cracking caused by rain. Parka+ provides a protective shield and protects the cuticle during the final growth stages minimizing cracking.
Trevor Thorley, president and co-owner of Engage Agro USA, said, “Parka+ is a new advanced formulation and offers cherry growers a safe, unique, and superior alternative to traditional wax based protectants. Parka+aligns with our corporate strategy to bring value added solutions to growers and retailers across the U.S.”
Hector Absi, CEO of Cultiva commented, “Our partnership with Engage Agro is a great example of how we plan to bring our products and technology to growers across the world. We are very excited about our relationship with such a well-respected partner as Engage Agro USA to distribute Parka+, our innovative cracking suppression product for cherries. We at Cultiva hope to expand this relationship as we continue to deliver value to customers with innovative products based on the SureSeal technology platform.”
