DECATUR, Ill., -- Dennis Garceau has been named vice president and director-group operations at Archer Daniels Midland Co., with manufacturing responsibilities for the corn processing division, including sweeteners, starches and bioproducts.



Garceau joined ADM in 1969 and has held various operations management positions, most recently serving as vice president-manufacturing and technical services. He has a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University.



Kevin Hess has been named vice president and director-group operations with manufacturing responsibilities for the O
oilseed processing division and ADM Grain. Hess has a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the University of Northern Iowa and a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Iowa State University.



Hess joined ADM in 1985 and most recently served as vice president-european crushing and refining operations. He will relocate to the company's headquarters in Decatur, Ill.



John Little has been named vice president-manufacturing for ADM's milling division. Little joined ADM in 1986 and most recently served as operations manager-North American soybean crushing division. He has a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of North Dakota.



Dan Wells has been named vice president and technical director for ADM's milling division. Wells joined the company in 1972 and has a bachelor of science degree in milling technology from Kansas State University. He most recently served as vice president-manufacturing for the milling division. He will remain located at the ADM milling facility in Salina, Kansas.
