Gary Wagner, CAC, owner of Great Earth Agri-Business, Inc., Madison, Wisc., was elected president of the American Society of Agricultural Consultants at the organization’s annual meeting held recently in San Antonio.
Wagner holds a master’s degree in dairy science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He joined ASAC in 1996 and received his Certified Agricultural Consultant designation in 1998. He provides a variety of business consulting services for agricultural producers and agri-businesses with his business being split between Wisconsin and California.
Other newly elected officers for ASAC are: President-Elect Paige Gilligan, CAC, Rabobank, NA, based in Fresno, Calif.; Vice President/Secretary Russell Morgan, CAC, Covenant Accounting and Tax Services, PLLC, Paducah, Ky.; Chief Financial Officer Erin Pirro, Farm Credit East, Enfield, Conn., and; Immediate Past President Peggy Raisanen, CAC, Hurley & Associates, Annandale, Minn.
Elected to the board of directors was John Jackson, CAC, Agricultural Management Group, Great Bend, Kan. Continuing in terms on the board are Kurt Ehnle, CAC, Ferguson Group (Peoria), Edelstein, Ill.; Robert Mehrle, Ph.D., CAC, Agricultural Information Management, Lambert, Miss,, and Robert Lee, CAC, Lee Agribusiness Connections, Inc., Harrison, Maine.
