AgProfessional.com and AgProfessional Weekly reported that Cargill is not accepting corn with the Viptera trait at eight wet-grind plants, and Syngenta has responded that the article, which originated from a Dow Jones Newswire report buried the fact that Cargill is accepting the grain at some other facilities.

Syngenta notes that it is only eight wet-grind facilities not accepting the grain and that Cargill is accepting the grain at other delivery points, provided growers notify the company in writing before making delivery.
