Precision Laboratories introduces Vertex
Precision Laboratories announces Vertex, a new nonionic surfactant certified by the Council of Producers and Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA). The ideal partner for products which recommend a CPDA-certified surfactant, Vertex enhances spray coverage and activation to maximize performance of every crop protection application.
Formulated with a high surfactant load and low foaming factor, Vertex improves spray efficiency by enhancing solution wetting, coverage and penetration of target leaf surfaces. In university greenhouse studies, Vertex demonstrated superior overall performance against other select CPDA-certified nonionic surfactants.
“We have formulated a truly superior product for our customers, and the test data proves that we’ve succeeded in our efforts,” said Jim Reiss, vice president of agricultural chemistries at Precision Laboratories.
To receive CPDA certification, adjuvant manufacturers must provide confidential formulation information to a panel of industry experts who review a product’s compliance with industry standards. This certification gives applicators and manufacturers confidence in the adjuvant’s formulation and performance potential.
“Commitment to product stewardship and industry established guidelines is something we take very seriously,” said Rick Wohlner, president of Precision Laboratories. “The CPDA certification process creates a consistent set of standards that growers can easily understand. When they see Vertex is CPDA certified, they know it is a product that they can trust.”
