PALMYRA, Mo. (AP) — An agriculture equipment company is relocating from Illinois to Missouri and bringing 92 jobs.

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon said Friday that Doyle Equipment Manufacturing Co. will move its headquarters and manufacturing facility to a site near Palmyra (pal-MEYE'-ruh) in northeastern Missouri. It's currently based just across the Mississippi River in Quincy, Ill.

The company makes equipment for handling bulk quantities of dry fertilizer. It plans a capital investment of $9 million as part of the move.

Missouri is offering the company about $1.6 million of incentives. That includes nearly $1 million under the Quality Jobs program, which provides tax credits and lets companies keep a portion of employee withholding taxes.

The project is getting an infrastructure grant of $600,000, and the company will get about $72,000 in sales tax exemptions.
