Abe Smith, Dow AgroSciences, market development specialist for the company’s southern plains  district, announces that a new herbicide active ingredient for broadleaf weed control in wheat is anticipated at the end of 2014 with new herbicides available for 2015 use. The active is arylex, and it will be for use in growing spring or winter wheat and provide excellent crop rotation flexibility, depending on what other herbicides might be used in conjunction with it.
