John Deere’s JDLink telematics system remotely connects equipment owners, farm managers and dealers to equipment in the field. The system allows for real-time information, such as location, utilization, performance and maintenance data, for machines to be accessed on the JDLink Web site, or sent via e-mail or text message.
For 2011, there are two JDLink packages available: JDLink Select and JDLink Ultimate.
The JDLink Select features include:

• Machine utilization profile
• Service Advisor Remote

The JDLink Ultimate features include those of JDLink Select, plus:

• Advanced machine utilization
• Customer alerts

• Remote diagnostics via diagnostic trouble codes
• System usage information
• Machine comparison
