NDAWN stands for North Dakota Agricultural Weather Network.
NDAWN covers all of ND, including several stations in MN, MT and SD and is a great site for weather information and historical weather records.
Here is a link for the site: http://ndawn.ndsu.nodak.edu/index.html
Each station also has a direct phone line that gives a recorded summary of:
- Total rain since midnight
- Yesterday?s total rain since midnight
- Current air temp
- Minimum air temp since midnight
- Maximum air temp since midnight
- Wind speed average for the last 10 minutes
- Maximum wind gust in the last 10 min
- Wind direction average for last 10 min
- Relative Humidity
- Dew point temp
- Bare soil temp at 4? depth
This info can be very handy when you are spraying!
