Conducted in March 2017, AgPro’s 18th annual Salary Survey had respondents who hold management positions from 38 states. The survey was developed to give retailers insights about the salary and ben-efits provided to agronomy sales professionals and applicator/machine operators. Two key trends were revealed. The competitiveness of ag retailers on a local level is becoming more influential. And though experience and education increase total compensation, experience brings more earning potential, comparatively.
